Appearance
The design of the SMOK Fetch Pro draws inspiration from the Mini version, showcasing a sleek and stylish aesthetic. Indeed, similar to the Fetch Mini, the Pro ranks among the most attractive devices produced by SMOK.
A vibrant colour screen enhances the design, prominently positioned on the side of the device. The pod features a well-angled design that seamlessly integrates with the overall aesthetic, adding an appealing touch.
Notably, SMOK has ensured that every design choice enhances the vaping experience. From the ergonomic body to the optimally placed screen, the Fetch Pro truly captivates aesthetically.
Although appearance isn’t everything, especially with e-cigs, it is refreshing to find a device that excels in both looks and vaping performance.
Performance
While the Fetch Pro boasts impressive aesthetics, does it deliver on performance? The answer is a resounding yes, but let’s examine the details.
This device offers versatility with compatibility for both RGC and RPM coils. I began my experience using the RGC coil, having previously found the RPM impressive in other devices.
The RGC coils feature what SMOK refers to as the conical mesh system. Essentially, this design means the coil is broader at the base and tapers off towards the top, resembling the shape of a cone, hence the term ‘conical’.
For those who enjoy cloud chasing, this coil won’t disappoint, delivering substantial vapour when operated around 50-60W. The airflow is ample, and there were moments I forgot I was using a pod! Throughout this review, I used Urban Chase Shortfill, and the higher VG mix significantly enhanced the vaping experience.
The RPM coils serve as reliable performers, perfect for vapers seeking a more subdued vaping experience that isn’t underwhelming.
Adjusting settings is straightforward, with the vivid colour screen presenting all necessary information clearly and facilitating a more immersive experience.
Ease Of Use
While the SMOK Fetch Pro is packed with features, it remains user-friendly for all levels of vapers. The screen is clearly readable, and the pods are incredibly easy to manage regarding coil changes and liquid refills.
Refilling is simple; just pull out the pod, remove the silicone plug, and top up as needed. You can also adjust the airflow to suit your preferences while the pod is detached, if desired.
For some vapers, especially newcomers, the introduction of a screen and adjustable power settings might seem intimidating at first. However, the Fetch Pro simplifies power adjustments significantly, making it easy for most users to adapt in no time.
The USB-C charging feature not only reduces charging times but also allows for the cable to be inserted in either orientation.
In summary, the SMOK Fetch Pro is remarkably user-friendly, making it an excellent choice for vapers to easily get started and enjoy their vaping experience.
right away.
Price
Typically, items labeled with “pro” suggest a higher price tag; however, the Fetch Pro defies this norm. At a fair price of £30.59, it may not be classified as a budget option, yet it certainly won’t break the bank.
If your budget is around £30 for a new device, the Fetch Pro stands out as an excellent option. Its performance and user-friendliness make it a versatile choice for numerous types of vapers.
Target Audience
The SMOK Fetch Pro caters to a variety of vaping styles, which contributes to its success. The only demographic that may find it less appealing could be dedicated MTL vapers or, ironically, some users of other vape pods.
This limitation exists because the Fetch Pro lacks a genuine MTL setting, as well as the generally tighter draw that other vape pod kits offer. Nonetheless, it remains highly satisfactory for a significant majority of users.
Verdict
I found this kit quite impressive. Its aesthetic is alluring, and beneath its sleek surface lies ample substance to meet my vaping preferences. Although I typically lean towards box mods, the charm and efficiency of this device have won me over.
Though it is fundamentally a vape pod, it aspires to be more, and this ambition is evident. Ultimately, if you’re in search of an attractive, high-performing e-cigarette that is affordable, the Fetch Pro should be at the top of your list.
