Sean John Combs entered the world on November 4, 1969, in Harlem, New York City. He grew up in a housing project in Harlem, where his father, Melvin Combs, was known as an associate of the convicted drug dealer Frank Lucas. When Sean was three years old, his father was tragically shot and killed. Following this event, the family relocated to Mount Vernon, New York.

In his previous neighborhood, many young boys found themselves dropping out of school and joining gangs, but in his new environment, Sean managed to graduate from the esteemed Mount Saint Michael Academy. He subsequently enrolled at Howard University in Washington, D.C., focusing on business studies.

While attending Howard, Combs accepted an unpaid internship at Uptown Records in New York City, a position he secured through rapper Heavy D, a friend from Mount Vernon. Other Projects and Ventures

Among the multitude of shocking claims, Cassie asserted that Diddy forced her into engaging in diverse sexual acts with several male prostitutes while he recorded the interactions. As Cassie attempted to break up with Diddy in 2018, she alleged that he broke into her home and assaulted her. In response to these accusations, Diddy, via his attorney, insisted that Cassie was merely attempting to exploit the situation for monetary gain, as suggested by her earlier request for a $30 million payment to remain silent. Approximately 24 hours following the exposure of these allegations, Diddy and Cassie reached a private settlement.

Unfortunately for Diddy, within a week of Cassie’s allegations surfacing, two other women came forward, accusing the rapper and mogul of rape. One accusation came from a woman who claimed Diddy raped her in 1991 while she was attending Syracuse University. She alleged that Diddy videotaped the encounter and later shared it with others. The alleged incident purportedly left her with “substantial and lifetime injuries.”

On September 16, 2024, Diddy was taken into custody in New York City by federal agents.
