Experience a Kit that’s Sleek, Stylish, and Effortless to Use
Introducing the OXVA XLIM SE! This marvelous kit caters to users who value simplicity in their vaping experience. It offers two distinct pods with 0.8 and 0.6 ohm coils, making it an excellent choice for both MTL and RDL vapers.
Let’s delve deeper into this elegant and straightforward kit.
Appearance
Presented in four captivating colors – black, galaxy, gold pink, and space grey, this kit exudes a sleek and elegant aura. The matte metallic finish of the tri-colored devices, featuring a dual-tone fade, imparts an otherworldly charm.
Diverging from its predecessor’s screen and fire button, the OXVA XLIM SE focuses on simplicity. It incorporates a USB-C charging port at the base and an airflow control on the side.
Performance
The OVLA XLIM SE offers two pod options – the 0.6 and 0.8 ohm coils. The 0.8 ohm pod operates at 12-16 watts, while the 0.6 ohm pod runs at 20-25 watts. Both pods deliver a satisfying amount of vapor. Personally, I favored the 0.6 ohm coil, given my preference for DL kits. Both pods perform exceptionally well with a 50/50 liquid or thinner consistency.
I opted to pair this kit with Double Drip mango raspberry ice cream, and the coil’s longevity and flavor rendition impressed me throughout the pod’s lifespan.
The 900 mAh battery’s endurance pleasantly surprised me, easily lasting a day post full charge. The USB-C charging facilitated a convenient recharging experience. Additionally, the LED indicator for battery life was a handy inclusion.
The transparent plastic pods offer visibility on liquid levels, a feature often lacking in other pods like the Eleaf GTL Pod.
TECC.co.uk provides 0.6 ohm and 1.2 ohm pods, which I believe would enhance the versatility of this kit. Some users prefer a tighter draw, and even with the airflow closed, the 0.8 pod may not deliver the desired tightness.
Ease Of Use
This kit’s simplicity shines through its user-friendly design. Merely fill the pod, after removing the rubber bung from its side, and insert it into the device. Like all disposable pod systems, it is necessary to allow the coil to saturate for 5-10 minutes upon initial filling. Pod replacement is hassle-free when the coil reaches the end of its lifespan.
Devoid of sophisticated features or a screen, this kit emphasizes ease of use. The responsive auto-draw activation enhances usability, while the easily adjustable airflow control caters to diverse vaping preferences.
Price
Priced at just £17.99, the OVLA XLIM SE offers cost-effective vaping, with pods retailing at £8.49 for a pack of three. While not as budget-friendly as some counterparts like the Joyetech Widewick, the build quality and durability of this device justify the price point.
Target Audience
Primarily targeting ML or RDL vapers, this kit serves as an ideal starter option due to its user-friendly design. It also caters to DL vapers seeking a secondary, compact device for on-the-go vaping.
OXVA XLIM SE Final Verdict
Having tested numerous refillable and disposable pod systems, the OXVA XLIM SE stands out as a victor. The design and feel of this kit resonated with me. While there are more affordable alternatives available, this kit’s quality sets it apart. The impressive vapor production and flavor profile further elevate its appeal.
In my view, including a 1.2 ohm pod in the package would enhance its offering, though additional pods are available for purchase. The adjustable airflow and pod variety align this kit with the needs of most vapers.
I plan to continue using this device alongside my primary DL vape, appreciating the pod draw and simplicity it offers.
A versatile kit catering to ML, RDL, and DL vapers, the OXVA XLIM SE is an excellent companion for both casual and enthusiast vapers seeking quality and ease of use.
