A compact MTL device that delivers exceptional performance.

Another addition to its Wenax collection has been introduced by GeekVape. The GeekVape Wenax H1 is a compact disposable pod mod equipped with a 1000mAh battery and USB-C quick charging feature. Given the variety of disposable pod mods present in the Wenax lineup, let’s delve into how it stands up against its peers.

Design

The GeekVape Wenax H1 boasts an attractive matte metal finish. Available from TECC in violet, black, and silver, I tested the lavender version. I must confess, the matte texture of this kit feels wonderful when handled. Additionally, the fire button features a textured surface, enhancing the experience when using the device.

On the sides, the kit showcases two airflow holes, while the USB-C charging port can be found at the bottom. With its rubberized bottom, the kit maintains stability and is less prone to tipping over—ideal for those of us who are a bit clumsy.

Furthermore, the pod fits snugly, emitting a satisfying click when inserted.

GeekVape Wenax H1 – Performance

This kit includes two pods: a 0.7ohm pod (16w-19w) and a 1.4ohm pod (8w-10w). I opted to try out the device with the 0.7ohm pod, as I favor a more airy draw. For testing, I used Totally Wicked’s Red Label Refreshing Love.

In summary, the kit performed admirably with a pleasurable, airy draw. I conducted a brief test on the 1.4ohm pod for comparison and found it to offer a noticeably tighter draw. Power settings can be adjusted by pressing the fire button three times, switching between low, medium, and high. I found that the medium setting was adequate and provided a satisfactory vape experience without depleting the battery too quickly.

The H1 supports two firing modes: either by pressing the fire button or using auto draw. Notably, you can continue to use auto draw even when the device is turned off.

Simplicity of Use

Easily operable, the GeekVape Wenax H1 makes for a user-friendly experience. There’s no need for coil changes, and it features USB-C quick charging alongside dual firing modes. You can also swiftly adjust the power level, customizing your vaping experience in mere seconds.

The only notable drawback is the absence of a charging cable, which may pose a challenge for beginner vapers. Besides this one issue, the kit is incredibly straightforward.

Cost

Priced at £18.49, the Wenax H1 is reasonably priced for a device with a 1000mAh battery. Compared to devices like the Vaporesso Osmall 2 or GeekVape Sonder U, it may not be as budget-friendly. However, quality often dictates price, and this kit clearly outshines both competitors.

The pods are affordably priced at £8.99 for a pack of three. Additionally, don’t forget to purchase a USB-C cable, available in a short version for £0.99 or a longer one for £2.99. So, it’s not too much of an added expense.

Intended Users

The GeekVape Wenax H1 caters specifically to MTL vapers, and I can confidently say it excels in this capacity. With a selection of two pods that accommodate either a tighter or airier draw, the adjustable settings further enhance its versatility.

For MTL vapers seeking a compact device that delivers excellent flavor, consistency, and performance, this is undoubtedly a fantastic option.

GeekVape Wenax H1 – Concluding Thoughts

This device is certainly a standout. The only drawback I encountered was the lack of a charging cable. With a solid 1000mAh battery, an included variety of pods, and an exceptionally user-friendly design, GeekVape has ensured that this kit performs reliably throughout its battery life. I noticed no decline in performance before the device ran out of power.
