The Touch is simple to operate but packed with features, representing the next evolution in touch screen e-cigs.

A new addition to the Aegis series by GeekVape, the T200 Aegis Touch is a dual 18650 mod capable of reaching up to 200 watts. Resembling other Aegis models like the L200 and Solo 2, the T200 sets itself apart with a large 2.4 inch touch screen. Let’s delve into the details of the GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch.

Design

This mod boasts a sleek appearance, akin to the Aegis L200 and Solo 2, featuring a refined metal finish and a comfortable leatherette panel at the back. The panel enhances the device’s grip and adds to its overall appeal. While the design is elegant, the camo pattern on the rainbow model might not suit everyone’s taste.

On the side, there is a locking switch, similar to the L200, which disables all buttons and the screen for convenient pocket storage. The opposite side houses the fire button and USB-C charging port.

Now, onto the highlight of the device – the touch screen! The vibrant, colorful display allows for theme and wallpaper customization, though it lacks the option to upload custom themes or wallpapers, which could have been a great feature.

Users need to be cautious with the T200 as, despite its Aegis branding and rubber padding, it is not as rugged as other Aegis models.

Performance of GeekVape Aegis T200 Touch

Skipping details on the Zeus tank, as covered in previous reviews, it delivers ample vapor production, especially with low-resistance coils, ensuring consistent and flavorful vape experiences. The kit includes a 0.15ohm (70-85w) coil pre-installed and a spare 0.4ohm (50-60w) coil. The tank’s top airflow control minimizes leaks, and an included tool aids in coil removal. Personal experience involved using the 0.4ohm coil at 50 watts with Zeus Juice Death By Bunny e-liquid.

The device performs admirably, dispelling concerns about battery life impact due to the touch screen. Surprisingly, it offers similar battery longevity as other models. The touch screen is responsive, with intuitive swipe gestures, though scrolling through wattage settings may experience minor lag.

Unlocking the touch screen is as simple as swiping along the bottom, allowing access to various menus and settings by swiping up when unlocked. Firing modes are extensive, including power, smart, and temperature control modes. Smart mode, which prevents accidental coil firing at high wattages, is often preferred. Responsive and user-friendly, the T200 is a solid performer.

Ease of Use

It is very easy to use the mod because it is adjusted solely through the touch screen, making the swiping responsive and fluid. Additionally, the mod offers USB-C fast charging capability to quickly recharge your battery, though it is recommended to charge removable batteries using an external charger. Within a few hours, users can easily become accustomed to the controls.

The tank features push-fit coils and a convenient twist-off top fill design.

Price

Priced at £64.49, the GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch is quite reasonable considering its advanced touch screen and the latest 2021 Zeus tank. The kit requires 2x 18650 batteries, which are available at £8.99 for a 2600mAh or £10.99 for a 3000mAh.

A pack of 5 Z coils is available for £10.99, which is also reasonably priced.

Target Audience

This kit caters specifically to DL (Direct Lung) vapers, with coil options ranging from 50w to 85w, depending on the coils being used. While 85 watts may not be as high as some DL vapers prefer, it still produces a substantial amount of vapor.

GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch – Final Verdict

I was pleasantly surprised by this kit. Previous experiences with touch screen e-cigs have been disappointing, but this kit not only responds well but also delivers an excellent vaping experience. The touch screen and display greatly enhance the overall experience. Its sleek and stylish appearance, combined with a comfortable hold, make it a standout device. If the tank offered a little less airflow and allowed for custom themes and wallpapers, it would have received a perfect score.
